Meet Dr. Mirabelli
My name is Dr. Maurizio Mirabelli. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I’m a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who received my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from University of Toronto and my Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit in 1993. I did my residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. I joined Lakeview Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center in 1998. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Royal College of Dental Surgeons and American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. I also belong to a number of organizations: American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Chalmer’s Lyons Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Great Lakes Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Michigan Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Macomb Dental Society, Thumb District Dental Society, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and Affiliated with Port Huron and Mercy Hospital.
I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery with special interests in the treatment of wisdom teeth, dental implants, full mouth extractions, bone grafting, exposure of impacted teeth, jaw surgery, facial reconstruction, facial trauma, oral pathology and intravenous (IV) sedation. To keep abreast of the latest developments in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, I have always exceeded the continuing education requirements of Michigan.
My hobbies include tennis, golf, swimming, hockey, soccer, gardening and reading. I am married and my wife and I have two children.
