Meet Dr. Vaitiekaitis
Dr. Arunas S. Vaitiekaitis grew up in Detroit, Michigan and received a
B.S. degree in Chemistry from Wayne State University. He then earned his D.D.S. degree at University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed a rotating dental internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He received his surgical training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
After over 30 years in private practice in Port Huron, Michigan, Dr. Vaitiekaitis joined Lakeview Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center in 2010 and continues treating patients for oral pathology, impacted wisdom teeth, extractions and jaw preparation for dentures.
Dr. Vaitiekaitis is the past president of the Detroit Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Thumb District Dental Society, Chalmers J. Lyons Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a former examiner for the Michigan Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty Board.
