Meet Dr. Beck

My name is Dr. Christopher Beck. I grew up in Port Huron, Michigan. I’m a board-certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon who received my undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from University of Colorado at Boulder and my Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit in 2000. I did my residency at St. John Detroit Macomb Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. I joined Lakeview Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center in 2004. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and belong to a number of organizations: American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Great Lakes Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Michigan Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Thumb District Dental Society, Macomb Dental Society, California Dental Society of Anesthesiology. I am affiliated with Port Huron Hospital, St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron Hospital and St. John Oakwood Macomb Hospital.

I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with special interests in the treatment of dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, full mouth extractions, exposure of impacted teeth, jaw surgery, facial reconstruction, facial trauma, oral pathology and intravenous IV sedation. To keep abreast of the latest developments in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, I have always exceeded the continuing education requirements of Michigan.

My hobbies include skiing, tennis, golf, sailing, fly-fishing, hockey and reading. I am married and my wife and I have two children.
